When is check-in at Genusshotel Vermala?
Your room at Genusshotel Vermala will be ready from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival. At Appartementhaus Vermala, check-in is available from 4.00 pm via the hotel reception.
When is check-out at Genusshotel Vermala?
Check-out is by 10.00 am on the day of departure. For any questions regarding an earlier departure, please contact reception directly.

Can I travel by train?
Yes, travelling by train is possible. Take the train to Bludenz, continue with the Montafonerbahn to Schruns and then take the regional bus to St. Gallenkirch.
Is there a hotel shuttle from Schruns railway station?
Yes, subject to advance reservation and availability, Genusshotel Vermala offers a hotel shuttle from Schruns railway station to the hotel and back.

What should I know about the room rates?
Room rates at Genusshotel Vermala depend on the room category, season, length of stay and selected dining option. The exact services and prices are shown in your personal offer or booking overview. All prices are stated in euros.
Prices in the room overview are per person and night. Package prices are per package and person.
Is the local tax included in the room rate?
No, the local tax is not included in the room rate and is charged separately. It applies to guests aged 14 and over, per person and night.
Are children’s rates or discounts available?
Children’s rates generally apply when sharing a room with at least two full-paying guests. In selected larger accommodation units – Family Suite Heimatliebe, Family Suite Edelweiß and Family Suite Bergwiesenblick – children’s discounts apply when sharing with at least three full-paying guests.
Does Genusshotel Vermala offer a best price guarantee?
Yes, when booking directly with Genusshotel Vermala, our best price guarantee applies at the time of booking. You book directly with the hotel without additional booking fees, whether you make your reservation by telephone, email or through our online booking system.
Can I request a no-obligation offer?
Yes, you can request a no-obligation offer through the website at any time. Our reception team will be happy to prepare a personalised offer based on your travel dates, preferred room and length of stay.

Which payment methods are accepted at the hotel?
At Genusshotel Vermala, we accept the following payment methods on site:

When paying by bank transfer, the outstanding balance must have reached our bank account by check-out at the latest.
How can I pay a deposit?
A deposit can be paid conveniently online or by bank transfer. When making a bank transfer, please include the name used for the reservation so that the payment can be allocated correctly.
Alternatively, you can pay by bank transfer. Please include the reservation number, reservation name and arrival date in the payment reference.

Which cancellation conditions apply at Genusshotel Vermala?
Cancellations are only valid when submitted in writing. The cancellation conditions stated in your booking confirmation or offer apply. In the event of a no-show or early departure, cancellation fees will be charged in accordance with the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions:
Cancellations made no later than 3 months before the agreed arrival date are free of charge, apart from an administration fee of €50. Any deposit paid will be refunded less the €50 administration fee.
Within this period, the following cancellation fees apply:
- Up to 1 month before the arrival date: 40% of the package price
- Up to 1 week before the arrival date: 70% of the package price
- During the final week before arrival and in the event of a no-show: 90% of the package price
- In the event of early departure: 100% of the package price
Please note: These cancellation conditions replace the right of withdrawal under the European Union Consumer Rights Directive.
Is travel cancellation insurance recommended?
Yes, we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. This provides better protection in the event of illness, unexpected circumstances or last-minute changes.

Is parking available at the hotel?
Yes, parking spaces are available directly at Genusshotel Vermala for hotel and restaurant guests. Guests staying at Appartementhaus Vermala can park directly at the apartment building.

Are dogs allowed at Genusshotel Vermala?
Dogs are welcome on request in selected rooms at Genusshotel Vermala. Please let us know that you will be bringing a dog when making your enquiry or booking.
Dogs are permitted in selected rooms within the following categories:

- Family Suite Heimatliebe
- Double Room Gipfelgaudi
In which areas are dogs not permitted?
Out of consideration for other guests, dogs are not permitted in the restaurant, lobby, on the rooftop terrace at the Weitblick SPA or on the sunbathing lawn. They are warmly welcome in the garden dining area and in the Valisera gondolas.
What should I bear in mind when staying with a dog?
Please bring your own dog blanket or basket. We also kindly ask that dogs are kept on a lead within the hotel grounds and that consideration is shown towards other guests.
How much is charged for dogs?
The charge is €22 per dog per night, excluding food. A short-stay supplement may also apply.

Is access to the Montafon Nature SPA included in the room rate?
Yes, access to the 750 m² Montafoner Nature SPA is included for hotel guests. Facilities include a Sky Pool, four saunas, a steam bath, two Jacuzzis, two relaxation rooms, a sun terrace with loungers and beautiful mountain views.
Is there an adults-only wellness area?
Yes, the Maisäß SPA at Genusshotel Vermala is an adults-only wellness area. It is located in Chalet Gipfelgaudi, which is connected to the main hotel building by a tunnel. The Weitblick SPA with Sky Pool is also available as a swimwear area.
Are bathrobes, sauna towels and slippers provided?
Yes, bathrobes, sauna towels and slippers are provided for your visit to the SPA.
Can I use the SPA on the day of arrival?
Use of the SPA on the day of arrival is possible subject to availability. Please contact reception for further information.
Can I still use the SPA on the day of departure?
Yes, you are welcome to use the SPA on the day of departure until 8.00 pm for €29 per person, including the afternoon snack.
Can I book massages at Genusshotel Vermala?
Yes, you can book soothing massages and treatments at Genusshotel Vermala. Whether after hiking, biking or skiing, or simply as time for yourself, our massages offer relaxing wellness moments at the Montafon Nature SPA.
Is yoga available at Genusshotel Vermala?
Yes, depending on the season and availability, Genusshotel Vermala offers yoga twice a week in Montafon. Particularly in summer, mindful movement, fresh mountain air and relaxing holiday moments come together at our wellness hotel in St. Gallenkirch.
Shuttle & Ski Hire
Is there a ski room at Genusshotel Vermala?
Yes, Genusshotel Vermala has a ski room with ski boot dryers. Skis, snowboards and winter footwear can be stored there conveniently.
Is there a shuttle service to the mountain lifts in winter?
Yes, during winter, Genusshotel Vermala offers its own shuttle service to and from the mountain lifts.
Is there a ski hire shop nearby?
Yes, guests of Genusshotel Vermala receive a 10% discount on hire equipment at Intersport Silvretta Montafon. You will also receive the Intersport winter savings booklet at check-in, featuring numerous additional benefits.

Yes, guests staying at the Vermala holiday apartments can use the Montafoner Nature SPA at Genusshotel Vermala. Facilities include two SPA areas, the Sky Pool, saunas, relaxation rooms and soothing moments of relaxation.
Is parking available directly at Appartementhaus Vermala?
Yes, one parking space is available directly at Appartementhaus Vermala for each holiday apartment. Apartment Grappes is the exception, with two parking spaces available.
