Montafon is ideal for e-bike tours, mountain biking, hiking, snowshoe hiking, winter hiking and tobogganing. At Genusshotel Vermala in St. Gallenkirch, you can hire suitable equipment directly from the hotel – simple, convenient and perfect for your active holiday in Montafon.
In addition to our e-bike hire, hiking poles, snowshoes, toboggans and the Vermala MINI Convertible are also available for special excursions. You are welcome to reserve your equipment by e-mail before you arrive.

During the summer months, you can explore Montafon with ease on our hotel e-bikes. Genusshotel Vermala has 14 e-bikes available for tours through St. Gallenkirch, the Montafon mountains and the surrounding valleys. A bicycle lock and e-bike map are available directly from reception.
For stays of 3 nights or more, one day of e-bike use is included for your biking holiday in Montafon, subject to advance reservation and availability. Additional e-bike days, or e-bike hire for stays of up to 2 nights, are available at our special rate of €39 per day.
MINI Convertible Hire in Montafon
Whether you take a sporty drive around the 34 bends of the Silvretta Hochalpenstraße to the Silvretta Bielerhöhe at 2,032 metres, or cruise peacefully through Montafon and the neighbouring valleys of Paznauntal, Brandnertal and Klostertal, or across the Arlberg, our MINI Convertible turns every drive into a true pleasure. Our MINI includes the toll pass for the Silvretta Hochalpenstraße.
We charge €0.50 per kilometre, including fuel.
Advance reservation is required and hire is subject to availability. Should you need to refuel, simply bring us the receipt and we will deduct the amount.
Hiking Pole Hire for Hiking Tours in Montafon
We have five pairs of LEKI carbon telescopic hiking poles available, subject to availability. They can be adjusted from 110 to 135 centimetres and are therefore suitable for everyone. The poles fold down to 40 centimetres and fit into any rucksack. In the event of loss, we ask for your understanding that a charge of €180 will apply.

Eight pairs of Grivel snowshoes are available for you. Explore the surrounding area independently or join the guided snowshoe hikes of the BergePLUS programme. These guided tours are included free of charge for our hotel guests and can be booked at reception.

With their chrome-plated steel frames and solid ash runners, Kathrein toboggans are safe, ergonomic and track-stable, with excellent gliding and steering characteristics. This family-run company has been producing high-quality toboggans since 1886, making the Kathrein family one of Austria’s oldest manufacturers of toboggans and sledges. Try our Kathrein toboggans on the toboggan runs of Montafon, subject to advance reservation and availability. In the event of loss, we ask for your understanding that a charge of €265 will apply.
