We serve our varied menu from the Vermala Ursprung restaurant in the gondola restaurant. Look forward to Austrian classics, dry-aged steaks, game dishes, burgers and vegetarian & vegan dishes. A large selection of regional specialities and refined, innovative dishes have been created by our kitchen team.
The history of the Valisera gondolas
Today gondola restaurant
The Valiserabahn in Montafon was the world's first detachable 6-seater gondola lift built by Doppelmayer in the former Silvretta Nova (now Silvretta Montafon). It went into well-deserved retirement in 2021 after 40 years of operation. And so it came to pass that we could not simply leave the beloved gondolas to their fate.
Without further ado, we decided to preserve five gondolas for posterity and give the old lady a few more happy years as a restaurant. With loving attention to detail, we designed, remodelled and breathed new life into the gondolas within three weeks.

Socialising is the cornerstone of our passion for hospitality. In addition to our hotel guests, all guests of the valley and locals are very welcome. A colourful mix is often the best prerequisite for a convivial evening. Bring friends, because the most important ingredient is good company.
