Where is the Hotel Vermala in the Montafon?

The Genusshotel Vermala is located in St. Gallenkirch in Montafon at the foot of the Silvretta High Alpine Road in the Silvretta Montafon ski area at the valley station of the Gafrescha cable car (approx. 300 metres as the crow flies).

Is there a pool at the Genusshotel Vermala?

The outdoor sky pool and the jacuzzi with a view of the mountains can be found in the Weitblick SPA on the Weitblick terrace. You will find another indoor whirlpool in our Maisäß SPA.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

The rooms and suites in the hotel are ready for occupancy from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival. The keys for our flats in the village centre are available for you from 4.00 pm at the reception in the Genusshotel Vermala.

Check-out is until 10.00 am on the day of departure.

When do I get the best price for my hotel booking?

What are the most beautiful hikes in the Montafon?

The hike through the centre of the Verwall nature reserve to the most beautiful place in Austria in 2021, the Wiegensee, is probably one of the most impressive tours in the Montafon. The panoramic trail on the Gantakopf, directly in front of our Genusshotel Vermala, is a popular half-day hike including the summit cross. Bike & Hike is also a good alternative to tackle part of the trail by e-mountain bike (from Hotel Vermal) to shorten the walk to the summit cross. The Madrisella-Versettla circuit, the Zamangspitze summit trail or the Vier Barga trail are just a few of the numerous tours, ranging from easy to difficult, which allow you to immerse yourself in the wonderful mountain panorama directly from St. Gallenkirch.

How high are the mountains in the Montafon?

The Montafon is located in Vorarlberg in Austria and has over 1,160 kilometres of hiking trails, providing an excellent offer for mountain hikers, climbers and mountaineers. With peaks such as the Versettlaspitze (2372m), Madrisella (2466m) and Heimspitze (2685m), high-alpine tours and a unique panorama are guaranteed.
