A highlight awaits you right on the doorstep of the hotel at the Garfrescha cable car: the 5.5 km long Garfrescha natural toboggan run overcomes a difference in altitude of 637 m, is floodlit in the evening and is the longest night toboggan run in Vorarlberg. From the Garfrescha cable car mountain station, the run leads via the Maisäß settlement of Grandau to the Garfrescha cable car valley station in St. Gallenkirch. Before tobogganing, we recommend a stop at the Brunellawirt inn for a bite to eat - what a winter holiday experience!

Tickets are available at the Garfreschabahn valley station - 350 metres from the Genusshotel Vermala. Mountain rides with a toboggan are only possible from 18:00.

Brunellawirt am Garfrescha
Our refreshment stop tip for the toboggan evening
Before the toboggan run, visit the Brunellawirt at the mountain station by the Garfreschabahn lift for a cheese spaetzle party or a hot mulled wine.
Après-ski, hut fun and toboggan evenings:
On the legendary tobogganing evenings, things really get going here! A DJ provides the party atmosphere on all 3 evenings and on Saturday there is also live music from Atze & Kurt. From the afternoon, daily hut fun and après-ski guaranteed.

Lindauer Hütte natural toboggan run in the Gauertal valley

The natural toboggan run from the Lindauer Hütte through the Gauertal valley to Latschau is one of the longest toboggan runs in the Montafon. Lots of sledging fun is guaranteed in any case. The ascent through the impressive winter landscape of the Gauertal valley with a gentle, continuous ascent. You can park in Latschau and toboggans can be hired at the hut. There are plenty of toboggans available, no reservation necessary. Natural snow tobogganing at its best!

Grabs toboggan run

Ascent from Latschau into the Gauertal valley to Vollspora and further along the toboggan run to the Grabs mountain inn. A stop at the Grabs mountain inn is highly recommended! The descent now starts fast and slightly winding through forest sections down into the Gauertal valley. The route then continues along the Volsporaweg to Latschau. The total difference in altitude of the toboggan run is 360 metres. The toboggan run is groomed.

Toboggan run at Hochjoch Kapell

Once you have reached the Hochjoch with the Hochjochbahn or Zamangbahn cable car, it's time for great fun for the whole family! The five-kilometre-long Kapell natural toboggan run winds its way through the snow-covered winter forests of Silvretta Montafon. The run offers an entertaining descent for everyone, regardless of age and experience. Easily doable with children!
