A true winter highlight awaits right outside the hotel at the Garfrescha Bahn. The 5.5-kilometre Garfrescha natural toboggan run covers 637 vertical metres, is illuminated in the evening and is the longest night toboggan run in Vorarlberg.
From the Garfrescha Bahn mountain station, the toboggan run leads through the Maisäß settlement of Grandau to the Garfrescha Bahn valley station in St. Gallenkirch. Before setting off, we recommend stopping at Vermala Wirt for a lively mountain-hut atmosphere – what a winter experience!

The natural toboggan run from Lindauer Hütte through the Gauertal to Latschau is one of the longest tobogganing routes in Montafon. Plenty of fun on the descent is guaranteed. The ascent leads through the impressive winter landscape of the Gauertal with a gentle, steady climb. You can park in Latschau, and toboggans are available to hire directly from the hut. Plenty of toboggans are available, so no reservation is required. Natural-snow tobogganing at its finest!

Grabs Toboggan Run in Montafon
Tobogganing Tip #3: Grabs in the Gauertal
The ascent leads from Latschau into the Gauertal to Vollspora and continues along the toboggan run to Berggasthof Grabs. A refreshment stop at Berggasthof Grabs is highly recommended. The fast and gently winding descent then leads through sections of forest into the Gauertal. Continue along the Volsporaweg back to Latschau. The toboggan run is groomed and covers a total vertical difference of 360 metres.

After reaching Hochjoch with the Hochjochbahn or Zamangbahn, great fun for the whole family begins.
