Vorarlberger Landesmuseum
Located between the lake and the city centre, within immediate proximity of the Kunsthaus and Landestheater, the architectural masterpiece, the new Vorarlberg Museum, forms the end of the cultural mile. Since its reopening in 2013, the museum has won prizes for its concept and architecture. Inspired by Terra Sigillata vessels, Roman ceramics from the museum's collection, the artists used the base of standard PET bottles as a mould and provided the outer wall of the museum with a structure that appears random at first glance, but is in fact calculated using a complex mathematical process.
